The Shop is located at the White River access point in the heart of historic Cotter, Arkansas, nestled in the midst of over 60 miles of world famous trout habitats. Friendly customer service and expert knowledge regarding our waters are two things you will always find when you visit the Natural State Fly Shop.

Meet Our Staff

Kyle Luck

Fly Shop Manager & Certified Guide

Kyle grew up in the small town of Vilonia, AR and fell in love with fly fishing at the age of 17. Kyle joined the Navy right after high school. He took a brief four year hiatus from The Natural State and was shipped off to Sasebo, Japan. But that didn’t stop him from fishing for carp, koi and sea-bass.

Henry Seay

Fly Shop Associate & Local Legend

Henry Seay is an Arkansas native. His dad bought him a bamboo fly rod when he was 15 for a trip to the Red River in New Mexico. Later in my life, while living in Arizona, he fished Lee’s Ferry and the San Juan rivers and fell in love with tailwaters.

Courtney Blank

Lodge Manager & Fly Shop Associate

Courtney is a California native who transplanted to Arkansas over 25 years ago. She moved to Cotter, Arkansas after retirement from government service for 15 years. She quickly discovered her love of Fly Fishing while working as the manager at the Cotter Trout Lodge where her office is located at the Natural State Fly Shop.
