Henry Seay

Henry Seay

Associate & Local Legend

Henry Seay is an Arkansas native. His dad bought him a bamboo fly rod when he was 15 for a trip to the Red River in New Mexico. Later in my life, while living in Arizona, he fished Lee’s Ferry and the San Juan rivers and fell in love with tailwaters. In 1996 Henry was fishing at Lee’s Ferry when someone introduced him to the zebra midge. Henry’s next stop after that was fishing Rim Shoals on the White River in Arkansas. In 2004 Henry moved to Mountain Home. Paula Flippin at Rim Shoals asked him if he would tie flies and guide, which he did. Henry adamantly believes that the White and the Norfork Rivers are two of the best tailwaters in the U.S.A. Henry has been involved in Euro nymphing for close to 5 years and has found it to be an amazingly productive method of fishing.
